Football Index, the front-of-shirt partner Nottingham Forest Football Club, has joined the club in the promotion of a major new gambling awareness initiative.
It launches on matchday, Sunday 28th June, when Nottingham Forest entertain Huddersfield Town at The City Ground (kick-off 2.15pm). The match, Nottingham Forest’s second post-lockdown, is also being covered on television, which will provide a highly effective nationwide platform for the important messages underlined by the campaign.
The new initiative involves the introduction of a wide number of integrated advertising and promotional activities in and around the ground, including bespoke warm up shirts, LEDs and pitch side banners. These are all designed to highlight the importance of gambling responsibly as well as educating football supporters and the local community about the issues associated with gambling and providing information about the support available.
According to Adam Cole, founder and CEO of Football Index, “We’re really proud of our relationship with Nottingham Forest FC and happy to back the club and its supporters on a number of fronts, that go above and beyond our initial investment in the biggest shirt sponsorship deal in the club’s history.
“We’re passionate about Responsible Gambling and have introduced a number of measures to ensure Football Index stays ahead of the curve when it comes to spotting and acting on problem gambling habits, so we are delighted to be able to support this initiative.”
Nottingham Forest’s Chief Commercial Officer, David Cook added “We are very supportive of Football Index’s desire to highlight the Safer Gambling message. For the remaining games, this key message will pick up considerable TV and brand exposure within the stadium. Together, we have invested to ensure this is communicated to our supporters and football fans in general.
Football Index is a revolutionary gambling platform and the world's first football stock market. The platform allows traders to place bets to buy and sell shares in over 3,000 professional footballers with real money - offering football fans a chance to bet on the future success of football players, rather than gambling on the short-lived outcome of football matches.
