Nottingham Forest head coach Sabri Lamouchi was thrilled by the manner of his side's performance in the 1-0 win over Brentford at The City Ground.
Ben Watson's second-half strike was enough to send The Reds joint-top of the Sky Bet Championship and Lamouchi was delighted to head into the international break on the back of another three points.
Speaking after the game, he said: "It was a fantastic performance. I am so impressed because it has been an amazing month for us and we have produced another unbelievable performance. Every single player, I don't want to miss one out, was fantastic today and they respected the plan we had.
"We scored at a good time, maybe we could have scored a second goal to finish it off, but what a superb performance it was. Brentford have some good players who prefer to play away from home but this afternoon we have stopped them doing what they like to do.
"We've played six games during the month and the players have worked so hard right until the end. Now they should enjoy their time off and then we come back to prepare for a difficult game away at Wigan.
"At the end of the game I said to the players that was our best team performance of the season so far. I like this kind of game because the players fought for each other from start to finish and they stopped Brentford from creating many chances so I am really pleased."
