Yates joins Notts on loan

The 19-year-old had a taste of first-team football last season, impressing for Barrow in their FA Cup run to the third round before helping Shrewsbury Town to avoid relegation at the end of 2016-17.

The centre midfielder, who has come through the ranks at Forest, will now team up with Kevin Nolan's side, alongside fellow Forest loanee Jorge Grant, for their League Two campaign.
