Nottingham Forest Women are delighted to confirm the signing of midfielder Sydnie Naylor.
The midfielder joins The Reds for the second half of the season and boosts the squad as they aim to push for top spot in the FA Women’s National League.
The 19-year-old started her career in the capital as she moved up through the age groups at Arsenal’s youth academy and was most recently on trial at a Championship club but Forest won the youngster’s signature.
Naylor has already linked up with her new teammates in training and is in contention to make her debut on Sunday afternoon as Forest aim to book a place in the fourth round of The Women’s FA Cup by winning at Burnley.
On joining Forest Women, Naylor said: “I am so happy to have signed for Nottingham Forest. With the team's recent form, the staff and togetherness of the group, I knew instantly that this is a place where I can fully enjoy playing my football. It is clear to see that this is a club with plenty of ambition and one that I am so excited to be a part of.”
