Nottingham Forest Reserves booked a Nottinghamshire County Cup final date with the Forest first-team with a 7-0 victory over Arnold Town.
Georgia Gladwin netted a hat-trick inside the opening nine minutes of the contest before goals from Charlotte Steggles, Annabel McKechnie, Summa Betts and Devonn Cousins sealed a memorable win for The Reds at Eastwood CFC.
Forest hit the ground running from the first whistle and opened the scoring in the fifth minute. The ball fell to Gladwin inside the area and she was on hand to ensure it nestled itself into the bottom left-hand corner of the net.
Gladwin doubled the lead as she got on the end of a flying cross and knocked the ball past the helpless goalkeeper and sealed her hat-trick when she got on the end of McKechnie's fine cross into the penalty area.
Steggles added Forest's fourth goal of the game three minutes before half-time as she rocketed a powerful shot just outside the area that left the goalkeeper with no chance.
The Reds picked up from where they left off in the second half as McKechnie lined up next to find the back for the net for Forest. The goalkeeper was drawn outside her box in an attempt to clear the ball but McKechnie knocked it past her and rolled the ball into the back of the empty net.
Substitute Betts bagged the game’s sixth goal in the 81st minute as she curled a sublime shot around the bodies inside the penalty area and into the far right-hand corner.
The Reds’ seventh and final goal of the game was scored seven minutes from time as they were awarded a penalty after McKechnie was brought down. Cousins stepped up to take the spot-kick and made no mistake as she scored from the spot to cap the game's scoring.
