Nottingham Forest Women are delighted to announce the signing of Republic of Ireland youth international Niamh Reynolds.
The 18-year-old links up with The Reds as she joins from FA Women’s Super League side Reading.
The attacking midfielder is a product of The Royals' academy where she spent the last two seasons learning her trade. Earlier this year, Reynolds was named on the Reading first-team bench for several of their fixtures, including a tie against eventual league winners Chelsea.
Reynolds is also a regular Girl in Green as she currently represents Republic of Ireland Under-19s. The youngster donned the famous green colours during 2019 and during the 2020 UEFA Women’s Under-19’s European Championship qualifiers which then came to a sudden halt due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
On signing for The Reds, Reynolds said: “I’m really excited about starting a new journey here at Forest. They’re a great team and I can’t wait for the season to begin.”
