Nottingham Forest Ladies are pleased to announce the promotion of Alena Moulton from first-team assistant manager to manager for the remainder of the 2018-19 season.
Alena has been part of the Nottingham Forest Ladies first-team programme for the past 18 months and has been an integral part of the club’s stability and development over the past two years.
Along with her role with the first team, Alena is also the technical director of Nottingham Forest Female Regional Talent Centre, overseeing the development of players aged between 12-16 years old, some of whom have moved on to become first-team regulars including forward Katie Middleton.
Alena said: “I want to put on record my thanks to Graham for giving me and the players the opportunity to work with him, learn from him and ensuring there is a squad who will fight until the very end.”
“For the remainder of the season I will look to continue the great work left by Graham and we will do our very best to pick up as many points as possible. I look forward to working with the team and continuing the fantastic journey”.
The club gives its full backing to Alena and are excited to see her put her stamp on the team as it closes out the season.
Nottingham Forest Ladies' next game is Sunday 10th March against Sunderland. The game kicks off at 2pm at Eastwood Community Football Club (Chewton Street, Eastwood).
