Fan appreciation day for final home fixture

1 April 2019

Nottingham Forest Ladies are delighted to confirm that the final home game of the season against Blackburn Rovers Ladies will be a fan appreciation day.

To thank supporters for their tremendous backing of the Ladies, supporters will be able to get into the game for half price, with children and Nottingham Forest season card holders receiving free entry for the FA Women's National League clash at Eastwood Community Football Club on Sunday 7th April (kick-off 2pm).

Nottingham Forest Ladies General Manager, Lee Billiard, said: "This is our way of thanking fans for their commitment and support this season.

"We have seen our attendances grow every month, with an amazing 1,252 at our recent home fixture. Along with that, we have seen our social media channels increase with interactions and followers and we want to keep that going.

"We want to keep offering the Nottingham Forest Ladies experience to people who may not have come to a game previously. We hope this not only rewards our loyal supporters but also entices fans of football and people across the county to watch our outstanding footballers perform and allow our players to show their gratitude by sending fans away happy."

The match will be sponsored by Nottingham Forest Supporters' Trust, who also support Forest Ladies in other ways including sponsoring defender Grace Walters.

Supporters' Trust Chairman, Elliott Stanley, said: "We have been very open about our strong desire to support the ongoing growth of Forest Ladies.

"Sponsoring the upcoming Blackburn game is part of our efforts to do just that. We hope to see as many Trust members and Forest fans as possible at the game - it's your last chance to back the Ladies at home this season, let's make it a cracker!"

Tickets can be purchased on the gate and Nottingham Forest season card holders will need to show their card in order to gain free entry.
