Goalkeeper Tim Erlandsson enjoyed a taste of first-team football in two separate loan spells in 2016-17.
The Swedish Under 21 international played for National League side Barrow at the back end of 2016, helping them in their run to the FA Cup third round and playing a starring role in the 2-1 win at League One side Bristol Rovers in the second round.
A loan spell back in his native Sweden followed at the start of 2017 as he featured for top flight side AFC Eskilstuna.
Erlandsson initially signed on loan for Forest in 2014 from Halmstads BK, playing a key role in a successful Under 18 side. His move was made permanent in June 2015, putting pen to paper on a three-year contract.
