Nottingham Forest saw off competition from a number of Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, to sign talented young defender Jordan Gabriel from Southend United in February 2015.
Gabriel was a regular started for the Under 18s in the 2015-16 season and helped them to reach the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup before they were eventually beaten by Liverpool.
The right back's eye-catching performances led to him being handed a professional contract at The City Ground in January 2016 with academy manager Gary Brazil citing him as 'an exceptional talent'.
A fast and tricky full-back who is capable of beating his man, Gabriel was included on the first-team's pre-season trip to Portugal ahead of the 2016-17 season before a serious injury hampered his progress, but Gabriel returned and featured for the Under 23 side towards the tail end of the season.
Gabriel has featured regularly for the Under 23s in 2019-20 and also came on as a second-half substitute for Joe Lolley in the Carabao Cup third-round tie against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
