Full back Danny Preston had a good 2016-17 as he made the step up to play for Jack Lester's Under 23s.
The combative left back showed plenty of promise in his first year as a scholar, competing in the higher age group and holding his own as well as featuring in the Under 18s as they reached the FA Youth Cup fourth round.
