Wales international midfielder Brennan Johnson is one the bright stars of the Nottingham Forest academy having been at the club since the age of eight.
Johnson, the son of former Reds striker David, played at every age group from Under 9s through to Under 23s before making his debut at the start of the 2019-20 season, coming on as a second-half substitute for Alfa Semedo in the first game of the campaign against West Bromwich Albion.
The Carabao Cup provided Johnson with great experience as he made his first professional start in the 3-0 win over Derby County in August before he played the full 90 minutes against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium a few weeks later.
A lively attacking player with plenty of pace, Johnson is highly regarded by his coaches at international level having represented Wales at both Under 19 and Under 21 and he hopes to break into Ryan Giggs' senior team in the near future.
