Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall enjoyed a breakthrough season in the 2016-17 campaign as the youngster made 21 appearances as part of The Reds' back four.
The 20-year-old made his debut for Forest in the 2-0 defeat at Reading on 29 October 2016 but went on to secure a permanent spot in central defence with a number of outstanding performances.
Having signed a contract with the club at the age of 14, Joe went on to become a regular for both the Under 18s and the Under 23s and his obvious leadership skills saw him take the captain's armband at both levels.
In a bid to aid his development, Worrall spent the second half of the 2015-16 season on loan at then-League Two side Dagenham and Redbridge and made a dream debut for The Daggers in their FA Cup third-round tie against Everton at Goodison Park.
The defender enjoyed his time in East London, even finding the net in the 2-2 draw at Newport County, and after returning to The City Ground he has not looked back and enjoyed a call-up to represent England at the Toulon Tournament in the summer of 2017.
