Mark Warburton was appointed as manager of Nottingham Forest on 14 March 2017, signing a two-and-a-half-year deal with the club.

Warburton began his coaching career at Watford’s academy before being appointed first-team coach at Brentford in February 2011. He became manager at Griffin Park in December 2013 and led them to promotion to the Championship where he then achieved a fifth-place finish in the following season, losing in the play-offs.

He joined Glasgow Rangers in June 2015 and guided them to the Scottish Championship title as well as the Scottish Challenge Cup before leaving Ibrox in February 2017.
