Dilane Bakwa joined Nottingham Forest in September 2025 from Ligue 1 outfit Strasbourg.

A left-footed forward player who operates mainly off the right flank, Bakwa has produced double-figure goal contributions in every full season he has played in senior French football. 

Bakwa joined the Bordeaux academy at the age of 13, signing his first professional contract with the Girondins in May 2019. Moving to the Alsace side in the summer of 2023, the attacker has gone on to play 71 times for Strasbourg, scoring twelve times and notching an impressive 21 assists. 

It was a successful season for Liam Rosenior’s team in 2024/25, and Bakwa featured 31 times as Strasbourg finished seventh in Ligue 1 and qualified for the UEFA Conference League.
