Carlos Miguel moved to The City Ground from Corinthians in the summer of 2024 with a glowing reputation in Brazil following a string of eye-catching performances.

The commanding goalkeeper is highly regarded as one of the best in his native country, keeping 14 clean sheets in 25 appearances for Corinthians and impressing since cementing himself as number one for the Brazilian club.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Miguel began his career at Flamengo, going on to have spells at Internacional, Santa Cruz and Boa Esporte before joining Corinthians in 2021.
