The latest from the Nottingham Forest dressing room ahead of Saturday's clash against AFC Bournemouth at The City Ground.
Chris Hughton confirmed that Lewis Grabban could return for The Reds having missed last weekend’s win at Wycombe.
The frontman could come into contention to face his former side, as could Sammy Ameobi who has also been sidelined with injury.
Samba Sow, Ryan Yates and Harry Arter all remain injured but are nearing returns, while Scott McKenna will be out for several weeks with an ankle injury.
Hughton said: “We have got a few injuries, which thankfully are not long-term, but when they are back it will be a very, very competitive squad.
“We need that, particularly going into the next few weeks when we have a lot of midweek games.
“When you add that level of competition, it ups everybody’s game. Everyone knows they have got to do well to make sure they stay in the team.”
Opposition team news
Bournemouth caretaker manager Jonathan Woodgate said that goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is likely to feature despite an ongoing injury concern, and has recalled Mark Travers from his loan spell at Swindon Town as cover.
Dominic Solanke, Jack Stacey and Rodrigo Riquelme will all be missing for The Cherries through injury.
