Check out the latest team news as Nottingham Forest kick-off the 2020-21 season with a Carabao Cup tie against Barnsley.
Sabri Lamouchi could hand debuts to his new summer signings, with the head coach having been impressed by their efforts in pre-season training.
Jack Colback is fit to feature, with Luke Freeman, Lyle Taylor, Fouad Bachirou and Tyler Blackett all available to make their Forest bows, but the game may come to soon for Miguel Angel Guerrero having completed his move earlier today.
Tiago Silva is set to miss out through injury and there are doubts over Samba Sow's fitness, but Joe Lolley has been training after picking up a knock and could be involved.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Lamouchi said: "Tiago Silva is not available, there are some doubts for Samba Sow.
"Joe Lolley has been training with us and after that it will just be my decision. Jack Colback is fit to start because he has impressed me and he has impressed everybody from the beginning, like Luke Freeman, like Lyle Taylor, they have increased the level and the intensity and the quality of training."
Opposition team news
Barnsley will be without long-term absentee Ben Williams for the Carabao Cup first-round tie on Saturday, while Romal Palmer is still working his way back to full fitness.
Head coach Gerhard Struber said: “I’m looking forward to starting the season; everyone is ready. We have every single player fit – the only one is Ben Williams; he has a big injury – but all the other players are ready for the fight on Saturday and, I hope, for the season."
