Lewis Grabban said that Nottingham Forest will be going out for the win at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday in Chris Hughton’s first game in charge.
Grabban has been impressed by Hughton’s work on the training ground so far and is optimistic as The Reds head to Ewood Park.
He said: “He has been good, a nice guy and thorough with the coaching he has done so far. Training has been good and it is natural when a new manager comes in that everyone wants to impress, everyone wants to be in that starting 11.
“Some lads may have a little boost going into the next game, but I think you need to be motivated regardless and every single game you need to be pushing yourself, no matter what is happening.
“For me, it is the same and I want to do well. Some lads may feel it is a bit of a refresh and will be looking forward to playing.”
He added: “It will be difficult, they were a good team last season as well so it will be difficult. They are physical, they move the ball well and have a lot of rotation.
“We will be working on the new things, there is still some trial and error with some of the new stuff but we will definitely be trying to get the win because we are a good team.”
