Miguel Guerrero said that Nottingham Forest’s home form is crucial as The Reds get set to face Swansea City on Sunday.
Forest won their last two home outings, against Coventry and Wycombe, but successive defeats on the road since the international break means that Sunday’s match at The City Ground is all-important.
He said: “We must make our stadium an impossible place for the other teams, but after a not very good start to the season, we need to fight for any point in any stadium because we have what it takes to do it.
“It will be a very tough game, like all of them. Swansea have been at the top since the beginning of the season, that means they are a great team, but I only care about my team and if we are good, we can get the three points.
“We have to go step by step. I see how the boys train and I know that good results will come, but we must go game by game, without looking at the classification, playing each game as a final.”
