Majewski reflects on Palace hat-trick

Apologies, this video is unvailable.

Radi Majewski had a knack for the spectacular during his time at Nottingham Forest. The Polish midfielder scored some sublime goals in the Garibaldi and we look back at a hat-trick of them which he scored on this day against Crystal Palace in 2012.

The victory at Selhurst Park moved The Reds away from the Championship's relegation zone and we caught up with Radi to talk about that day.

He said: "The thing is, I remember at half-time that the gaffer said to me 'listen, are you going to wake up or what?' and then after the game I said to the coach 'is that okay?' I scored three goals and it was a great memory for me. The goals I will remember for the rest of my life, I scored three and I was so happy and I still have the match ball at home.

"For the first goal, Garath McCleary was shouting to me to pass the ball but I believed in myself, shot and scored and everyone was happy.

"The second was a right-foot effort, McCleary passed me the ball again and he said don't shoot. I did the opposite and scored and he said to me afterwards that I should do the opposite of whatever he tells me!

"You don't score a hat-trick every day. It was 0-0 at half-time and it ended up 3-0 and I scored all three; when I look at the match ball at home I remember that game."
