Sabri Lamouchi insists he is only focused on the next game as Nottingham Forest get set to take on Bristol City on Wednesday night.
The Reds have a busy run of fixtures coming up against sides around them in the Championship table, including the East Midlands derby on the weekend, but Lamouchi knows that the focus is on a difficult match against The Robins first of all.
He said: “It will be a tough game because they have a good squad, good players and a lot of options in the offensive part.
“We know that they have not been in a good moment but they have the players to change that.
“We have to take it game by game. We just have to focus on the next one and that is Bristol, a good club, good team with very good players.
“We just need to focus on this game, on our performance, focus on this game and only on this game.”
This will be the third match since the restart for The Reds, with a draw and a win to show for their efforts, and Lamouchi feels that his side are getting up to speed after the three-month break.
He said: “It is the third game in our preparation, so maybe we have some more experience and we can avoid some situations and some mistakes.
“I always exaggerate a little bit, as the performance on Sunday was not so bad and the result was massive.
“We are lucky as I said from a long time ago, that the players worked well at home and we are lucky as the dressing room is really professional and focused on each session and each game.
“The single details can change the result, so we need to be ready for that.”
