Team news: Preston vs Forest

10 July 2020

The latest from the Nottingham Forest dressing room as The Reds prepare to take on Preston North End on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).

Sabri Lamouchi has confirmed that Joe Lolley is a doubt for the trip to Deepdale. The winger limped off at half-time of the midweek loss against Fulham but Lamouchi is hopeful that he can be involved.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference yesterday, Lamouchi said: "There is a question mark over him. He is a doubt. Two days ago, he stopped and he didn’t train today. We will see tomorrow.

“If he is okay, he will travel with us to Preston. If he is okay on Saturday, we will see if he can start or be on the bench.

“Joe Lolley is one of our key players and he is really important for us. The question mark is whether he can travel with us and if he can help us from the beginning or during the game. We will see."

Samba Sow was also substituted at half-time but he is fit and available, while there are no other injury concerns.

Opposition team news

Top scorer Daniel Johnson made his return from the substitutes' bench in the midweek victory over Sheffield Wednesday and will be pushing for a start.

Fellow subs in that game at Hillsborough Scott Sinclair, Jayden Stockley and Brad Potts all came on to score so will also be hoping that their performances have earned them a place in the starting eleven.
