Samba Sow is fully focused on getting the three points as Nottingham Forest get ready to face Luton Town on Sunday.
The midfielder knows that it will be a tough test against The Hatters, a test he is relishing as Forest must continue their form if they are to keep challenging at the top of the table.
He said: “Every game in the Championship is hard, we have to focus and do everything to get the three points because we need it.
“I have been happy with my performances but I have been injured, I haven’t played all of the games but you can always do better.
“This is my first season in England, I am happy with the beginning but we have done nothing yet. You can make the conclusion only at the end, not now.
“We can only tell at the end, we have to keep going with our work. We have not done anything yet so we have to wait until the end of the season to see if we have done well or not.”
Sow has become a favourite among supporters for his combative and passionate displays, something that he appreciates and wants to continue with even better performances.
“I have been enjoying it,” he said. “The first game when I came here, I didn’t play but I was in the stadium and I just wanted to come here and play.
“I hope to bring some happiness to the fans, that is the most important thing.
“I just want to keep going, because it is always nice when people like you. I don’t want to disappoint them, I just want to give my best in each training session and each match to be good.
“I don’t think too much about improvement, I just want to give all I have. I want to progress and achieve the goals of the club and for myself also.
“The fans are so close to the team and to the league. They come every game, with a full stadium whether it is against Leeds or Luton. I appreciate that and I like that.”
