Nottingham Forest head coach Sabri Lamouchi knows his side must play their game when they travel to Cardiff City tomorrow.
The Reds were frustrated in the home fixture against Cardiff, seeing a host of chances go by before losing 1-0, and Lamouchi is expecting an equally tough match in South Wales.
He said: “It will be a very tough game. Against Cardiff with the same manager, at home it was a difficult game with a lot of chances but we lost.
“They were very compact, very aggressive and very strong so it will be similar, probably tougher. Physically we need to refresh the players because it is two games after the QPR game and we travel after today’s session, we play tomorrow night an important game.
“They play at home so they need to do something different from the game here, we will see. I know what kind of game we will expect but we need to play the way that we know.”
Lamouchi said he has doubts over three key players ahead of the trip to the Cardiff City Stadium, but hopes to have them involved with the squad.
“Unfortunately, Sammy Ameobi has a question mark, Samba Sow as well, Lewis Grabban the same,” he said. “We need to be patient and take the right decision for the single players and for the team.
“They could be out maybe just for Cardiff, I hope to bring at least one with us to Cardiff, we will see after today’s session.
“Nuno da Costa will not be available, he is making some specific sessions with the medical department. I hope we will try to recover him before Middlesbrough but I am not sure.
“The players are probably tired, not just physically but also mentally. It is our job, as staff, to be calm to find the right solution.”
