Nottingham Forest are delighted to announce that defender Joe Worrall has committed his long-term future to the club.
The centre back has been an integral part of the side this season, with his towering performances at the heart of the defence a key factor in The Reds’ form, and the 23-year-old has penned a new contract with the club until 2024.
Worrall, who graduated from the club’s academy, has been an ever-present in the Championship this season as he approaches 100 appearances for his boyhood club. He joined the club aged 14, going on to captain the Under 18s and Under 23s before making his Reds debut in the 2016-17 season.
His performances earned him international recognition, captaining the England Under 20 side to success in the Toulon Tournament before going on to represent England at Under 21 level.
