Nottingham Forest manager Chris Hughton said his side must keep up a high intensity if they are to start picking up results.
The Reds face Brentford at The City Ground on Saturday and Hughton wants to see the intensity in the team’s performance that was on show at Norwich on Wednesday night.
He said: “Our intensity in the second half, our willingness to get on the ball and to make runs has been better. What I have got to make sure of is that the reaction in the second half isn’t just because we are chasing the game.
“That has got to be, first and foremost, what we want to be as a team, a team that plays with good intensity. We have come up against some really good sides in these recent games and that will be the same tomorrow.
“We want to play with that type of intensity as that will give us the best options to get into positions and hopefully start scoring some goals.”
Brentford arrive at The City Ground looking to keep up their positive start to the season and will provide The Reds with a very strong test, another one in the latest run of fixtures.
Hughton said: “The difference between them and Norwich is that Brentford have a bit more pace in the team. With regards their shape, they are an expansive team and they are a team on the back of a very good season last season.
“I saw a lot of them last season, and they are a very exciting and dangerous team to play against.”
