Nottingham Forest are delighted to confirm that the Under 23s team has been awarded the Professional Development League North title.
The Reds had a superb season, with Chris Cohen's side claiming the league title on a points-per-game basis after the season was curtailed early due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
When the season was called off early in May, Forest were sitting comfortably at the top of the league, six points clear of second-placed Burnley, having won 14 and lost just two of their 21 fixtures.
Their last fixture in March saw them win 5-0 against Bolton and now The Reds have been awarded the league title.
Academy manager, Gary Brazil, said: "I'm delighted for the whole academy set-up. Every member of staff involved through all the age groups has a part to play in player development and this achievement is a reflection of all their hard work, both on and off the pitch."
Gareth Holmes's Under 18s finished in 5th place in the Professional Development League North table, with their season also decided by points-per-game, with Wigan Athletic crowned the league winners.
