Yuri Ribeiro has been taken aback by the level of the support from the Nottingham Forest fans as another big crowd is expected at The City Ground tonight against Hull City.
The Portuguese defender joined The Reds in the summer and has been impressed by their backing of the club, both home and away, and says the supporters can be key in helping Forest earn all three points against The Tigers.
He said: “It will be a very difficult game but we have a lot of quality. With the fans here at The City Ground, hopefully they can help us get the victory.
“I have been very impressed, they create a fantastic atmosphere at home and away. They are the same no matter where the game is and they are incredible. We have thousands of fans at away games and I am very impressed with this. We have to work all together, the fans and the players, to achieve the objectives.
“I think they can make the difference for us. The team works really hard for the three points in every game but this is always very difficult, but I have seen in the games we have played that we have only lost twice so far in 12 games. The Championship is a very tough league and we need the fans to help us to achieve more; with their support it can be easier for us.”
