Nottingham Forest head coach Sabri Lamouchi is excited about the prospect of putting on a performance in front of a packed City Ground crowd on Saturday against Brentford.
The Reds have had a fruitful week on the road, picking up four points at Stoke and Blackburn, and return home as they look to extend their unbeaten league run before the international break.
“With a hypothetical victory, it will be a fantastic month,” he said. “We just want to focus on our performance, not the result as we will play in front of a full home, with our fans and we want to focus on putting on the best performance. The consequence of that will be the best result, and with this it would end a fantastic month.
“The players have done a great job until now but it is not finished. On Saturday, we need to play like we know how and at home, with our fans, a full support, we just want to enjoy it and play for the best performance.
“It will be a very tough game because Brentford have a very good striker and I like the way they play. They seem to play much better away from home and it will be tough as they have good players in each line.
“We are just focused on the game, then we will give the players some rest in the international break. But before that rest, they need to do the job.”
Lamouchi has been impressed with the way his side have performed so far but knows there is still room for improvement as the season progresses.
He said: “We need to improve but in a short space of time, we have been playing at an incredible level. I know we can do much better than what we are doing now, so I just want to keep this way and I am thinking we are in the right way. I am satisfied with what the guys are doing every day, so we must keep going and keep working.
“Sometimes I prefer to have more control of the game, but about the determination and attitude of the players, I am totally satisfied.”
