Nottingham Forest midfielder Jack Colback says that the team with the right mentality can finish in the top six as The Reds head to Ipswich Town.
Forest will be hoping to pick up the three points at Portman Road to keep themselves in the mix for a top six finish.
Colback said: "It is really tight but you have just got to keep going. That is easy to say but the games come thick and fast. It is our third game in a week so you just have to dust yourself down after Wednesday and go again.
"Mentality will be key on who gets in there and momentum is a big thing as well. We haven't really generated that all season but if we could do that now at the business end of the season that would be perfect."
Colback knows that to reach the play-offs, Forest will need to put on a good run and develop some consistency.
He said: "It is the story of our season really. We have got ourselves in a nice position, got a win then we can't seem to follow that up. I think it is only one time all season that we have won back-to-back games which isn't good enough.
"In the bigger picture, we are still amongst it and we still have a chance. Everyone was disappointed with the result on Wednesday but Villa are a good team and they should be up there.
"We were disappointed but we look to tomorrow and hopefully we can get the win."
