The City Ground is always the place to be and Nottingham Forest are delighted to announce that supporters are now able to renew their season card for the 2019-20 campaign.
This season has seen memorable wins over Derby County, Leeds United, Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday and means The Reds are still in with a shout of reaching the play-offs and potentially playing Premier League football next season.
Starting today (Friday 15th March) there is an exclusive early bird renewal period for current season card holders to renew for the forthcoming season, after which any remaining seats will be available on general sale at an increased rate.
After seeing all-time record season card figures for the current season, which was a 25% increase on the previous campaign, the club expect strong sales again. In addition to this, The City Ground has seen an average attendance of 28,144 this season compared to 24,680 during the 2017-18 campaign, with six sell-outs along the way.
In light of these record numbers and due to the redevelopment work expected to commence in the summer of 2020 the total number of season cards available will be capped at 20,000, to ensure everyone who renews will have the best possible chance to claim a seat during the construction period. With this in mind, supporters looking to purchase during the renewal period are encouraged to do so at the earliest opportunity to avoid missing out.
The City Ground still remains as one of the cheapest stadia to own a season card in. 2019-20 renewals can be purchased from £345 which equates to just £15 per match, remaining one of the cheapest in the Championship. There is also a range of concession prices on offer during the renewal period. An Under 11's season card remains the cheapest in the division at £1.30 per match and Under 18s are priced at £80 for the whole campaign.
The club’s Chief Commercial Officer David Cook said: "The board have been delighted with the ongoing support this season. This speaks volumes for the backing the fans are giving the team. With the uncertainty of stadium capacity during redevelopment, we will have to look to cap season cards around the 20,000 mark. Renewing season cards does give fans the best chance to see Forest during season 2019-20 and on in to the development phase. Our pricing strategy remains one of the cheapest in the division and the season card early bird prices represent a significant saving on matchday prices."
