We are looking for people to join us on matchdays to help us deliver a great matchday experience for all our supporters, guests and visitors, as well as to work on external events held at The City Ground.
There are a variety of different positions available ahead of the new season, so visit the fair being held in the 1865 Club at The City Ground on Wednesday 19th June from 4pm-7pm to find a role suitable for you.
Prior experience is not necessary for all roles as training is given. Some roles require specific qualifications, and, in some cases, you will need to undergo a Criminal Record Check. But above all, what you need to bring is a passion for providing great customer service and a work ethic that thrives in a busy, lively, energetic environment.
The roles available include:
Roles are available in all areas of the stadium and range from serving drinks and hot food in bars and kiosks in the concourses to waiting on diners who are enjoying more formal pre-match hospitality.
Positions are also available to develop and create great-tasting menus behind the scenes as chefs and kitchen porters, as well as to supervise the catering teams to deliver excellence in all areas.
The safety and security of everyone is of paramount importance at Nottingham Forest.
Safety and turnstile stewards are required to meet and greet supporters, check tickets and ensure that fans are directed to the right areas of the ground. You will keep a look out for any hazards or challenges to our safety and report them and ensure that supporters leave the ground safely and assist with any evacuations should the need arise.
More specialist roles include response team to handle incidents directed by match control and qualified First Aiders.
Nottingham Forest hospitality is renowned for its high standards of service delivery, and now you can play your part in contributing with matchday experience host roles available.
The role will entail ensuring that all hospitality areas are correctly set up for when guests arrive, meeting and greeting supporters and VIPs and making sure that they have everything they need.
You will be the first point of contact for the guests in each hospitality area, so outstanding customer service is paramount to ensure that they have an enjoyable City Ground experience.
A visit to the Megastore is a big part of the matchday experience for many supporters, so it is important to provide excellent customer service to Forest fans.
Retail Assistant positions are available, and this varied role will range from welcoming customers to the store, performing till sales and handling customer queries. The role will also include maintaining visually attractive merchandise displays, taking regular stock checks and carrying out shirt printing on replica shirts.
The ticket office is a vibrant and busy place to work on a matchday, with supporters looking to secure their seats for the big match.
As a customer service assistant, you will be the first point of contact for supporters, and proactively sell tickets for all home and away fixtures, memberships, travel packages using inbound and outbound sales techniques.
You will also process cash and card payments, handle queries and update databases to ensure accurate data on our wide-ranging and growing fanbase. You may also be using your outstanding interpersonal skills to help and advise supporters around the stadium on matchday.
All positions are offered on a casual matchday and event basis, such as weddings, parties and corporate events, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to fit us around your existing commitments.
