Nottingham Forest would like to advise supporters that all reactivation letters and new season cards have now been posted out ahead of the opening game of the season against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday 3rd August (kick-off 5.30pm).
Season card holders are reminded that anyone who renewed the same seat as last season will have had their season card automatically reactivated for use for the upcoming campaign. In such cases, supporters will not need to do anything other than use their existing season card at the turnstiles.
Supporters who have lost or discarded last season’s card should not worry and should simply call the ticket office on 0115 982 4388 to arrange for a replacement card to be sent to them ahead of next Saturday’s game.
A number of existing season card holders have already done so and are advised that their cards are now being printed and should be with them by the early part of next week.
New season card holders, or supporters who have either relocated to a new seat or have changed age category or name have now had a new season card automatically sent to them which should arrive by this weekend.
Using a season card for the first time
Regardless of whether the season card is new or an existing card has been reactivated, the club strongly recommend that supporters arrive at The City Ground as early as possible to allow for any technical issues which may arise on the first matchday of the season.
There is every possibility that a small percentage of season cards may not function as expected, so attempting to use a season card at the turnstiles at least 60 minutes before kick-off will enable the club to resolve any potential issues and ensure that supporters can access the stadium well in advance of kick-off.
Supporters who have any problems accessing the stadium with their season card on matchday should seek the advice of one of the club’s ‘here to help’ assistants who will be dotted around the stadium. Wearing a pink high-visibility bib, they will be able to deal with any issues and take the necessary steps to ensure supporters get into the stadium in a timely manner.
What if a season card hasn’t arrived?
Supporters who have not already received a reactivation letter or new season card by 1pm on Wednesday 31st July are asked to contact the ticket office on 0115 982 4388 to seek further advice on how they can still attend the West Bromwich Albion fixture.
