Nottingham Forest head coach Sabri Lamouchi felt he learned a lot about his side in the 3-0 defeat against Olympiacos last night.
The Reds conceded three goals in the first half-hour of the pre-season friendly match as their training camp in Greece comes to an end.
The result follows on from the victory against Atromitos by the same scoreline and Lamouchi feels it is the small details that need to be worked on.
Speaking after the match with Olympiacos, he said: “I preferred this game to the Atromitos game because we faced many problems and the small details become a big consequence when you start the game like this against these kind of players.
“After eight minutes, two goals easy without any effort. It is difficult and we need to work; we knew that from before that they are more ready than us. They have their first important game next week, they started three weeks before us but we must start the game in a different way; more focus, less mistakes.
“We gave them a lot of gifts, from the beginning it was three same situations and we must work on that. Set pieces, corners, they are easy situations. Small details and big mistakes.”
The mistakes proved costly for The Reds against their opponents who are set for the Champions League qualifiers next week and Lamouchi is keen for his side to learn from those errors and quickly.
“For me, it was good to play against Olympiacos. I have a lot of answers about the situation now and we must be positive and learn from the mistakes to not repeat them.
“In three weeks, we start the Championship. We have a friendly game against Palace on Friday, a different opponent, good opposition and I want to see a different performance.”
