Nottingham Forest winger Joe Lolley felt that it was a good workout for The Reds despite the defeat against Olympiacos.
Lolley knew that it would be a difficult challenge against the Greek giants but it is another step towards being ready for the season opener on August 3rd.
Speaking after the game, he said: “We didn’t start very well. We conceded three set-piece goals and Olympiacos are a very good team.
“There was a good atmosphere and the football they play was very good. With their Champions League game next week, they are further ahead of us so we knew it was going to be tough.
“We didn’t know what to expect but we knew there would be quite a good crowd and the fans were amazing.
“This is only our fourth game and the start of our preparations but I think they deserved the win. For us, it was a good test and a good workout for us to build our fitness and get ready for the new season.”
