Nottingham Forest head coach Sabri Lamouchi was pleased with the second-half display from his side as they secured a point with a 2-2 draw at Millwall this evening.
The Reds came from behind to lead after half-time but were pegged back in injury time, meaning a draw and a fair result according to the Forest boss who admitted that his tactics from the start didn’t work as planned.
Speaking after the game, he said: “I probably didn’t get it right, because we changed after the break but the way we started the game wasn’t good, without make good passes, the second balls and the intensity we were so far between us.
“Obviously the second half was much better, defensively and offensively and the attitude was totally different. We created a lot and Millwall won the first half after a corner and we won the second one with two goals.
“We should keep the result two minutes before the end but I think the goal was fair because they could have scored before that, and we could have scored as well, so a draw was logical.
“We will need to work more on this system, if we want to use it again. Maybe I was wrong, but I am sure that we can play this system with these players, maybe we need more time to work on it.”
