Nottingham Forest forward Lewis Grabban knows that the whole club must move forward together ahead of the busy Christmas period.
The Reds travel to Millwall on Friday night ahead of the first of eight games in four weeks and Grabban is ready and raring to go.
He said: “It is difficult, ideally you get as much rest as possible. You recover, have ice baths and all of the normal stuff. Rest is key then you get yourself up for another game.
“Since I have been here, this is the best feeling we have had. The lads are behind the manager, the manager believes in the players and the fans are with us as well.
“So far, we have started off well and it is about replicating that for the next third, perhaps doing a bit better and seeing where that takes us.”
Grabban returns to his former club Millwall expecting some stick from the crowd but is determined to get a result to bring back to Nottingham.
He said: “It is like the other clubs that I come up against, I’ll get a bit of stick but I just try and do well against whoever I am playing against. I am looking forward to it.
“As a young player, I probably had a few immaturities in my game and my attitude and it was a learning curve. It was early in my career after going there from Palace, I gained some experience from playing there.”
