Christmas food bank collection

Help Nottingham Forest and Hope Nottingham ensure nobody goes hungry this Christmas and New Year by donating to the food bank collection ahead of Saturday's game against Sheffield Wednesday.

Forest fans have shown tremendous levels of generosity in the four food bank collections to date, with tonnes of food being donated to the charity to help those in need across Nottingham.

With Christmas fast approaching, the charity needs further items to help provide food aross the city and you can play a big part in ensuring no-one goes hungry over this festive period.

The collection will be based next to the Family Red Zone, behind the Brian Clough Stand, from 12.30pm on Saturday ahead of the game against Sheffield Wednesday.

The following items are most in need for the charity:

  • Milk (UHT or powdered)
  • Sugar (500g)
  • Instant mash potato
  • Tinned fruit
  • Fruit juice (long life)
  • Soup
  • Pasta sauce
  • Sponge pudding (tinned)
  • Rice pudding (tinned)
  • Tinned spaghetti/macaroni
  • Rice
  • Cereals
  • Basic toiletries & loo rolls
  • Instant coffee
  • Biscuits/snack bars
  • Tinned meat/fish/vegetables
  • Jam
