New signing Samba Sow says it is a dream for him to play in England and he can’t wait to get started with Nottingham Forest.
The midfielder joins the club from Dynamo Moscow and is eager to make his mark in the Championship.
He said: “I am very happy because I know this is a historic club and it is an honour for me to be part of this team, so I am so happy right now.
“I know many French players who have played at Forest before and I try to watch as many games as possible, that is how I know this club and this league.
“Now it is a dream for me to play in England. Since I started football I wanted to be here one day. This day has happened and I am so grateful. I want to work and to help the team towards the goal.”
The Mali international moves to The City Ground with plenty of experience under his belt and says he is ready to give his all for the Garibaldi ahead of the Championship opener this weekend.
He said: “I don’t like to talk about myself, I’d rather leave that to the coach and the journalists! But I know that I will give everything on the pitch, to make the fans proud of me and proud of the team.
“I just want to get started for my new team. This is football, you have to take things slowly, step by step but I am ready.”
