Nottingham Forest are delighted to announce the signing of French-Congolese goalkeeper Brice Samba from Caen.
The shotstopper moves to The City Ground for an undisclosed fee from the French Ligue 2 side, signing a four-year deal.
The 25-year-old started his career with Le Havre before moving on to Marseille. He made his professional debut in 2014 before signing for Nancy on loan ahead of a switch to Caen in 2017.
He has been the first-choice goalkeeper for Caen, making 49 appearances and keeping 15 clean sheets in all competitions and had one of the best save percentages for shots on target in the French top flight last season.
Samba now teams up with Sabri Lamouchi’s Reds ahead of the clash with Leeds United this weekend.
