New Nottingham Forest midfielder Panagiotis Tachtsidis is looking forward to making his mark in English football having penned a deal until 2020.
The Greek international joins the club having left Olympiacos and is eager at the prospect of testing himself in the Championship.
He said: "It is a great honour for me to join such a fantastic club in Nottingham Forest. Everyone knows about the history of this club so to be able to pull on the shirt is a proud moment.
"It is a big club and I hope to make a big contribution during my time here. There is a very talented squad and I am excited to be a part of it and hopefully we can achieve some success this season."
The former Genoa, Roma and Torino midfielder has plenty of experience under his belt, including in the Champions League and being part of the Greek squad for the 2014 World Cup, and he is looking forward to getting started at The City Ground.
"I have heard lots of things about English football," he said. "I know that this league is tough, it is physical but I know that I will fit in with this style.
"I like to compete and be strong, but I also like to play good football and with the players we have here, I know that this will suit me and I just can't wait to get started."
