Saidy Janko says he has thoroughly enjoyed his first week as a Nottingham Forest player and believes The Reds deserved their victory over Rotherham United.
The Swiss defender has played 90 minutes in all three matches since arriving at The City Ground and was delighted to feature as Forest edged past a dogged Millers side on Saturday.
Speaking after the game he said: "I really like it here and we've been picking up good results which always helps. It was a tough one today because they sat deep and didn't make it easy for us to play but we kept our cool and eventually we got the break.
"There wasn't a lot of space on the pitch at all but we managed to combine really well to win the penalty at the end. That makes it two great wins this week and now we have to focus on the next game and try to continue our run.
"I loved every minute of playing at The City Ground. The fans are great, there's so many of them here considering we're a Championship side and hopefully they will keep supporting us like they did today."
The victory made it seven points from a possible nine during the week and Janko believes the Forest squad has what it takes to be competing at the top end of the Sky Bet Championship table.
He said: "We're aiming to be at the right end of the table with the top teams and get promotion. I think with this team and the quality we have in it, we could achieve something like that.
"In training it's really hard because the players who aren't in the team are pushing really hard to be involved and the lads who are in the side are desperate to keep their spot. At the end of the day though we're a squad and everyone is ready to play a part."
