Saidy Janko was delighted to get back out on the pitch as he made his Nottingham Forest debut in the goalless draw against Swansea.
The full back made his Reds bow having signed on loan from FC Porto and impressed as Forest claimed a point in South Wales.
"I was very happy about it," he said. "It was my first 90 minutes for quite some time, so it felt good and the team played well as well. I was happy with my personal performance but I feel that I can do more and I can always improve.
"The more I play in this team, the better I feel I will become and we will also grow as a team. We could have got more out of the game on the weekend with the chances that we had but we have plenty to build on.
"It was a bit of a surprise for me to start as I expected to be on the bench or in the stands to begin with, just to get settled in, but this was even better. I was ready for it, I enjoyed it and I want to keep playing well to keep hold of my place in the team."
Janko was speaking exclusively to Forest Review for Wednesday night's match at The City Ground against Sheffield Wednesday. Read the full interview by picking up your copy for just £3 from around the ground on the night.
