Host families required for the 2018-19 season

4 September 2018

Nottingham Forest are looking to recruit potential host families to support the club’s academy players aged between 16-23-years-old for the 2018-19 season.

The club are looking for families who can provide a suitable and safe family environment for our scholars or professional players and applicants would need to be able to offer a private room and provide an evening meal for either six or seven nights per week.

Host families will be paid a weekly rate receiving payment fortnightly for providing this service while support and guidance will be offered by the academy at all times in this role as you support the development of the player away from the training ground.

It is desirable that you are located within easy travelling distance of the training ground on Wilford Lane and The City Ground as players attend sessions at both sites.

As part of the recruitment process, the club will complete several visits to determine the suitability of location and to ensure that the home meets the requirements for hosting one of the club's young players.

This role will have regular contact with children and it is therefore required by law to have a DBS Enhanced Criminal Record Check with children's barred list check for all house occupants aged 18 or older.

Please express your interest via email to or by post to Chris Caunt, Nottingham Forest Football Club, The City Ground, Nottingham, NG2 5FJ.
