In the second of a new series of features celebrating Forest fans around the world, we find out more about Chicago Trickies, the recently-founded group of Reds supporters in the States.
Who is behind the group?
We have Bandy & Shinty magazine to thank for our existence. In the last issue one of our members, Adrian Walters, was profiled and a number of other Forest fans in the city found him through social media, to gauge interest in forming a group. Then, with a little help from our friends in the NY Supporters' Club, a Facebook and Twitter page were created to get the word out for an inaugural meeting to watch the Birmingham game.
How long has the group been running?
A matter of weeks! We are keen to get the word out to other Forest fans in the city that we are planning regular meet-ups to watch the world's greatest team.
How many fans are involved?
Currently a dozen.
How can visiting fans find you on a matchday?
Our base is the Globe Pub in lakeview in the northern part of the city. They've been very supportive and a Forest scarf and flag are due to be adorning the wall shortly.
How can fans around the world follow you?
You can find us on Facebook and Twitter - @nffcCHI.
