Danny Fox says there is a real buzz in the Nottingham Forest dressing room at the moment as they look to continue their impressive form at Blackburn.
Since the return from the international break, The Reds have picked up three victories as well as a point away at Swansea, and Fox says that is down to the players impressing both on the training pitch and in games.
He said: "There is a buzz around the place and it shows; there was about eight or nine lads who played on Wednesday who hadn't played in a while and they have given the manager another headache, which is a good headache for him to have.
"It is better than not having that type of decision to make. There is a buzz and everyone is looking forward to every game, nobody wants to miss any training sessions and we are going into every game confident at the minute.
"Every game is important and a winning habit is a good one to have. We want to win every game, regardless of whether it is in the cup or in the league. We want to keep the momentum going, putting the performances in and getting the right results which we are doing at the minute."
Fox will come up against a familiar face in Tony Mowbray, with the pair having been at Celtic together, and the defender says The Reds need to start picking up results away from home to match their form at The City Ground.
"It will be a tough game," he said. "They are similar to Wigan in the fact that they are full of confidence having got promoted last year. They got a good win on Saturday away at Stoke which was massive for them.
"I played under Tony Mowbray at Celtic, he is a good manager and will have them playing good football but they will be really fit as well.
"It will be a tough game but we need to start picking up points away from home as if you want to climb the table, you need to get results away from home."
