Match preview: Under 23s vs Birmingham City

15 October 2018

Nottingham Forest Under 23s return to Professional Development League action on Monday when they welcome Birmingham City to The City Ground (kick-off 2pm).

The Reds were victorious in their first Premier League Cup game last Sunday when they beat Exeter City 3-1 at the Impact Arena thanks to goals from Toby Edser, Jayden Richardson and Yassine En-Neyah, and now they will be looking to take that form into the league.

The Reds sit in 5th place in the league table while their opponents Birmingham City sit in 3rd, two points clear of Forest on 14 points. The Blues lost 3-1 at home to Fulham in their first Premier League Cup game last week, but they ran out convincing winners in their last league game, beating Sheffield Wednesday 4-0 at home.

Admission is free for all supporters and seating will be in the Brian Clough Stand lower tier. Car parking is also available in the Brian Clough Stand car park.
