Our Under 18s maintained their unbeaten run last weekend as they drew 1-1 with Burnley at the Forest Academy.
After 20 minutes, Elliott Andrew fired just over the bar but four minutes later he gave Gareth Holmes's side the lead from the penalty spot. Ethan Dekel-Daks was brought down inside the area and Andrew stepped up to fire into the top corner of the net.
The lead was only short-lived though as Burnley equalised through Chris Conn-Clarke and in the second half Forest had the better of the chances to come away with all three points.
Andrew saw an effort tipped onto the crossbar, Dekel-Daks had an acrobatic effort cannon off the bar and Andrew again poked wide and headed over the bar as the elusive winning goal evaded The Reds.
They had to settle for a point though which kept them above their opponents in second place in the Professional Development League table ahead of the trip to face Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.
