Gil Dias wants the Nottingham Forest fans to get right behind the team on Saturday when Norwich City are the visitors to The City Ground.
With a near-capacity crowd expected, the Portuguese winger knows that it is important to carry on with their good home form.
He said: "We don't want to lose in front of our fans. It is not good to do that and with our stadium, we need to make it like our castle and not lose.
"The last game at home we drew when we shouldn't have done. We have worked and we have learned from those mistakes. We need to show now that we want to win and that we can get the three points at home.
"A full stadium is what we want. We need all of the fans with us to win the game."
In his first season in English football, Dias knows that he still has lots to learn but he thinks that he is improving with each training session and each game.
"I think I can do better," he said. "As the games pass, I will do better and better to get to my top performance. I want to do more dribbles, score more goals and I think this is what is missing, more goals.
"We haven't had a bad start; we have had a couple of bad games but we haven't been losing. That is important, when you don't play well but you don't lose the game. It is a good thing to have.
"I think Joao, Diogo and I are settling in now, we need time to settle in and we are starting to do that and getting to know the league."
